With a passion for helping others create lasting memories, event planning is one of Julia’s new favorite skills she can use to achieve that goal. Every aspect of the event process is exciting, but one of her favorite aspects to focus on is the design + graphic elements, which enables her to combine both her love for graphic design and events. As an intern with Manhattan based event planning company 23 Layers, Julia worked on projects + events with clients like Slack, Airbnb, Jericho Capital, Wellbeings, Milkbar, + Publicis Health Media. All items were created in Adobe Illustrator and printed on various materials for each event including cling vinyls, magnets, and cardstock. Wellbeings Rebrand + Annual Full Circle Benefit Gala

For the launch of their rebrand and annual benefit gala, Julia assisted in the creation of the invitation, along with menu + bar designs, and other branded decorative activations + elements.
Airbnb Untitled Party
Chicago, IL // August 2019
Kicking off to the GBTA conference in Chicago, Airbnb hosted their exclusive event at the Untitled Supper Club. Designed elements included entrance signage, rectangular + round menus, and special signage with their partner for the event, Milkbar.
Slack Summer Party
New York, NY // July 2019
Designs for this fun filled summertime event at the William Vale’s rooftop bar, Westlight, were centered around a golden to pink gradient. This color scheme was incorporated into everything from the menus to an elevator button bringing guests up to the 22nd floor.
Publicis Health Media Debut Healthfront Conference
New York, NY // July 2019
Publicis Health Media hosted their first two-day Healthfront Conference at the Classic Car Club in Manhattan that included lots of personal branded + designed details. From directional signage to branded meeting cards and a giant check, each element was carefully thought out and curated to give attendees the most seamless + enjoyable experience possible.
